Education and Experience

My Bachelors of Science was completed at ASU and I am about to complete my Masters of Science there, as well. My thesis is concentrated in the modeling of hypersonic vehicles in turbulent, chemically reacting flows.

I was an Air Force Research Laboratory research associate at Kirtland Air Force Base in 2012. The computational analysis of missile launch profiles and hypersonic reentry maneuvering was performed on Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs) for optimal boost and terminal trajectories. I also assisted with DoD laboratory testing on state-of-the-art inertial measurement units at their high-precision Inertial Navigation Testbed Laboratory.

In 2011, I was Vice President of the student organization Air Devils. UAV’s were designed, built and tested under strict rules set by the AIAA Deign Build Fly judges. Models were designed and constructed using Air Devils own UAV optimization code. Aerodynamic performance characteristics were measured and verified during subsonic wind tunnel testing and flight testing.

Supersonic wind tunnels are fascinating laboratory devices, and I have enjoyed volunteering my time working on the one located at Arizona State University. From device calibration to real-time data collection and data analysis, I have learned an immense amount about the fascinating characteristics of supersonic fluids and what it takes to experiment with such fluids.

Hobbies and Interests

You can often find me modifying and flying my collection of RC aircrafts and helicopters. I am an avid cyclist, tennis player and poker player. I have visited over 32 countries, and will visit every country within my lifetime.

Future Goals

Richard Branson and Yves Rossy inspire me to push the limits of aerospace, and I hope to one day be able to give this world such amazing, unique and inspiring ideas as they have done and continue to do. I want to push the limits of aerospace, like no one has ever witnessed before.
